Our Nightingales project provides volunteers to Camp Wannaplay at Arkansas Children’s on nights where service dogs are available. This lets parents and caregivers get some much needed respite while their children are well taken care of. The project also provides snacks and special event dinners for patients and parents residing at the Home for Healing.

Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Junior League members provided weekly game nights to families and caregivers at Arkansas Children’s  in a relaxed atmosphere. The committee also served holiday meals to more than 200 people each year. These activities and other special events to helped families cope with a long-term hospital stay.
