At Kota Camp—two summer and two weekend camps at Camp Aldersgate—children with disabilities and medical conditions, along with their non-disabled siblings and friends, can come together to experience the benefits that camp can offer.
To goal of Little Readers Rock is to create excitement for reading in the kids of our community through monthly reading days in the Little Rock School District and our public event in partnership with CALS and the Six Bridges Book Festival.
One of our oldest community projects, Nightingales volunteers plan and facilitate activity nights, special dinners, and other events to support families who are coping with a long-term hospital stay at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the Family Home of Little Rock.
The Nonprofit Board Institute (NPBI) is a five-week training session in the fall that provides leadership insights and board training to community and League members. NPBI also hosts an one-day workshop in the spring.
Stuff the Bus supports children in our community by helping them start school with confidence and giving them the literal tools they need to succeed. JLLR provides all essential school supplies to thousands of students each year in our partner schools.
