Telischa Lewis – August 2023 Member of the Month

Telischa Lewis, Admissions & New Member Training Chair, took on the role after her term as Membership Vice President, without a chair-elect year for preparation. Nonetheless, she excelled, ushering in the league year by successfully welcoming over 50 new members. Telischa and her committee organized an engaging acceptance party and a comprehensive new member retreat, effectively immersing our new members in all things related to JLLR. Her seamless transition and dedication contributed to a successful start of the league year for our new members.

Volunteering is her passion! Outside of the League she volunteers with Jack and Jill of America Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, and is a Girl Scout Leader.  When she’s not volunteering, Telischa is a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She also enjoys trying new restaurants; Allsopp and Chapple is a current favorite. She loves that by being a member of JLLR she can not only serve the community and develop herself into a stronger leader, but she can also foster meaningful connections with women she might not have otherwise met.
