Get to know Stephanie Wise, our December Member of the Month!

What is your favorite Little Rock restaurant or place to shop? 

In Little Rock, I’d say Big Orange is my favorite restaurant. I love the atmosphere, menu, and creativity that comes from behind the bar!

What is one thing JLLR members might not know about you? 

I am an avid traveler, when conditions allow. My travel bucket list is extensive, and I can’t wait to start checking countries off again once it is safe and restrictions are lifted. My goal (except 2020) is at least one week in a new country each year.

What’s your favorite television show from the 90s? 

This is a tough one! There were so many great shows in the 90s. I rarely missed an episode of Full House or Family Matters, so I’d have to say those two tie for my favorite.

What’s your favorite song of the 2000’s?

I don’t even know if I could pick just one favorite song each year of the 2000’s…

What is your favorite holiday and why? 

Christmas. It might be cliche, but I love getting to spend time with family and friends. I also love picking out just the right gift for my people and the decorations that accompany the season.

What animal, book/movie character, or music genre best embodies your personality? 

I asked some friends on this one, and the most common answer: a mixed-tape, late 90s to the early 2000’s…hip hop, R alternative, and boy bands. Seems fitting.

Who was your high school celebrity crush? 

Oh…Prince Harry.  I’ve been fascinated with the British Royals, but Prince Harry has always been my favorite.  Andy Roddick was up there too.

If you were hosting a dinner party, who would be your three guests (dead or alive)? 

Amelia Earhart, Betty White, and Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
