Dear Prospective Merchant,
The Junior League of Little Rock is extending you a prospective merchant application for Holiday House 2013. The Shopping Event of the Season will again be held at the Statehouse Convention Center, located in the heart of Little Rock’s Downtown/River Market area. We are thrilled to announce that we set yet another attendance and fundraising record in 2012. Our success was largely due to our amazing merchants, and we look to build upon that success November 13th-16th, 2013.
Our JLLR Membership and Holiday House ticket holders are looking forward to our private events that have completely sold out for the last 4 years!! We hear from attendees year after year that Holiday House is a tradition for their friends and family whatever day they attend. We are happy to announce our schedule for 2013!
Monday, November 11th: JLLR Move-In and Set Up
Tuesday, November 12th: Merchants Move-In
Wednesday, November 13th: Merchants Move-In
Preview Party 6pm – 10pm
Thursday, November 14th: Private Shopping 9am-12pm
General Shopping 9am-9pm
Ladies Night Out 6pm-9pm
Friday, November 15th: General Shopping 9am-9pm
Saturday, November 16: General Shopping 9am-6pm
Our Holiday House team is honored to be recognized by our valued merchants each year as ‘the nicest league members in the country.’ The JLLR takes great pride in providing a high level of hospitality to our merchants by providing meals and drinks for two people, three times a day from Wednesday evening through Saturday. We will also provide snacks during move-in days and throughout the show. Each booth will be provided with an 8 foot draping in back and 3 foot draping on two sides, one 8 foot skirted table, two chairs, a wastebasket, and a 20 amp electrical outlet with electricity. Merchants will coordinate with SHCC regarding phone lines and internet access. We are thrilled to announce that merchants can pay for storage inside the SHCC. This priceless offer will ensure security for your valued merchandise and the fabulous convenience of being able to work from your storage throughout the show. These requests must be made ASAP as they will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
If you are a returning merchant and were sent an invitation to be in our show again this year, please complete your forms and deposit by April 1, 2013. If you are a new merchant or a returning merchant, who did not receive an auto- invite, and would like to be considered for our 23rd annual show, please complete Step One and Two of our application process and send samples and photographs of your booth to the Junior League of Little Rock on or before April 21st, 2013 by mailing them to JLLR, attn: Holiday House Merchant Chair, 401 South Scott Street, Little Rock, AR 72201. There is a form for you to complete and send in with your samples and photographs. These items will not be returned. Holiday House is a juried show of merchants; therefore space in each category is limited. Jury selection will be held the beginning of April, so please get your application completed as soon as possible and send in your photographs and samples too.
The Holiday House Merchant Team looks forward to our returning merchants as well as our potential new merchants. Together, we will work diligently to exceed our fundraising and attendance records for our 2013 show. As always, all Holiday House proceeds support the valuable community projects of the Junior League of Little Rock.
