JLLR Cookbooks
Cookbook operates as a full-time business, serving our members, sustainers, wholesale and retail customers throughout the country for the entire calendar year. A part-time Business Manager is employed to better meet the needs of this growing business. In 2003, Cookbook made its first contribution to the JLLR General Fund in the amount of $120,000.

This contribution was generated from the sales of JLLR's cookbooks: Little Rock Cooks, Traditions: A Taste of the Good Life and Apron Strings: Ties to the Southern Tradition of Cooking. All books were nationally recognized when Oxmoor House's America's Best Cookbook chose three recipes from our collections. In 2004, Apron Strings was approved for a book reprint that will generate $100,000 profit for the League's community projects.
Marketing of the JLLR cookbooks includes sales to regional and national wholesale accounts and distributors, making it possible to find our books through retailers across the country. The cookbooks are also available for purchase directly through the JLLR office and this website.
